1985 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series
Greetings fellow eBayer's...California Dreamers!
Offering a real Appreciating Asset, it's a car and it's a tank, simple beauty.
Incredible after all these years! Over 40 MPG!
I am a Chief Engineer that works on an oil spill response vessel.Today's ships favor diesel engines because of their reliability, longevity and record of strenuous use. They're not hard to service or repair and they stand the test of time.
Here is an originalgerman bulletproof tank and the last year of the 300D's...
This is a garaged 1985 Mercedes 300D Turbo-Diesel. Mercedes made the W123 body for many years with unrivaled success. The 5 cylinder diesel is unbreakable and the car is indestructible.. This one is a fine example and now in shape to drive anywhere.
I am offering it for sale, hoping someone see's it who really desires one and makes an offer before I leave for work by the end of the month. You are welcome to test drive the vehicle up until the 30thof September.
Vehicle is in Midlothian, VA (garaged).
Relocating forcing sale.
The previous owner had owned the vehicle for many years. I have had her for several years and have performed extensive work to restore the vehicle correctly.
Here is a list for your review and consideration. I have records to support all of the work.
Brakes and calipers.
Paint. Desert beige metallic (looks silver depending upon the light of day).
Hood insulating pad.
Suspension mounts have been replaced anew.
Valve clearances completed.
Compression mounts and tie rod ends.
Red pin striping kit.
Mercedes floor mats.
These cars are all different. This one is peppy and perhaps the quickest one I have owned and with all of the repairs accomplished, she is running extremely smooth.
Hagerty has these vehicles going up in value. One in this condition will go as high as $14,400.00... I want to make it a win-win for the prospective buyer with and asking price of $8950.00. I think someone will be very pleased.
If you are looking for something special, than this beauty needs your consideration!
