1990 Mercedes-Benz G-Class 250GD

Full restoration of this ex-military 250GD (Diesel Million Mile Mercedes Engine). Front and Rear locking differentials along with a "crawler" gear turn this GWagon into an off-road beast. Silver exterior, Nut Brown interior.Restoration at 36,000 kilometers, car currently shows 36,565 kilometers. Converted to approximate miles in description. VIN is WDB46140117067394


·Engine removed after testing cylinder compression and oil pressure.

·Engine disassembled for inspection, block cleaned, prepped and refinished, camshaft inspected for wear.

·Cylinder head disassembled, checked for warpage, planed, new crankshaft seals, cylinder head bolts, head gasket.

·Radiator recored, new timing belt and water pump, oil pan gasket, timing belt tensioner pulley.


·Cleaned and disassembled, internal components within specifications, refinished gearbox housing, new transmission seals, clutch, throw-out bearing.

Transfer Case

·Housing refinished, new gaskets and seals, cleaned and disassembled


·Removed from vehicle, differentials disassembled and inspected, axle housings media blasted & refinished, new seals & gaskets installed, new wheels and tires - balanced and aligned


·Install new brake hoses, brake lines, calipers rebuilt, drums reconditioned, new pads & shoes, new rotors.

Body and Frame

·Dismantle and remove body from frame, remove interior, wiring harness,

·Entire body media blasted down to bare metal, primer applied, new custom interior, window seals and gaskets, install new brake lines, fuel lines, body mounts, hand fitted for proper symmetry,

Suspension and Steering

·Install new springs, new shock absorbers, urethane bushings, tie rod ends

·Suspension steering aligned, new steering damper
