This is one gorgeous 1976 Mercedes 300D. We call this machine the "Cockroach" because you can not kill it! These motors were deigned to go a million miles! The overall condition of this 300 is excellent! Runs and Drives great, recently ran a 75 mile trip with no issues.
Interior:
The Interior is like a time capsule. It sports the Optional Becker Radio ( no functioning ) All of the seats show very well, as do the door cards. All Window motors work as they should. Overall a very very clean car for the age. Please take a moment to look through our gallery! Guages are working properly. Heat works very well.
Exterior:
The exterior is easily an 7 out of 10! Paint shows very well. All the tires have 60% tread. All the chrome is in good shape. Please take a moment to view our video walk around and test drive!
Drivetrain:
a very healthy inline 5 cylinder diesel it is averaging around 24mpg! Quite impressive for the time. This particular 300d has be upfitted with an additional 20 gallon fuel cell! This is the perfect cross country machine. The suspension / brakes feel great. With the flip of a switch you can alternate between the factory tank and aux. Trans shifts excellent, and there are no quirks.
