Used and enjoyed in the Long Island, NY enclave of The Hamptons by private collector owner.
Hydraulic system serviced and functioning! Air suspension fully functional, airs up and down as it should. Holds air for extended periods of time, will air out after 2 week +/-.
Can be driven and used, or with some minor paintwork, ready to be shown.
This car can be left original as it sits for future preservation class winner! Only one repaint in the late 1990s in Gray, Originally 040 Black/Black!. Exported to Canada and kept in a private collection until we acquired it and imported back to the US in 2019.First time for sale in over 25 Years!!
Wood is very nice and preserved with exception of top of the dash leather trim near instrument cluster against the windshield has a tear.
Original Becker Radio works. Outside temp gauge and cloc, antenna, and all lights including the glovebox lamp, ALL FUNCTIONAL
Condition:Car runs and drives very well, new brakes, new plugs and distributor cap/rotor.
All glass is excellent with no cracks or chipsAll Lamps and turn signals, seat adjustments and windows all functional. Sunroof Fully functional open and closePaint is in nice presentable driver condition very high level repaint done in the later 1990s, prior to its display at the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles California.Has some small chips and scratches in the paint, as indicative for a car of this age. Windscreen wipers inop but never driven in rain so never bothered me. My plans were to keep this car forever, but a new venture I am seeking requires I sell this Rare 600. The interior still smells of its fine leather and wood. No rot or rus, very solid. Chrome shows no pitting and is clear and shines well overall, rear bumper over-riders have minor pitting present.
Car is accompanied with:3 original keys, books and manuals, partial service history, ORIGINAL TITLE OF THE PETERSEN MUSEUM, Import documents from Canada, Original Triangle Warning Deflectors, and Tool kit, Jackstand, Original Spare wheel and Tire, as well as the bulb replacement kit!
History:PETERSEN MUSEUM in LA, than to private collection in Montreal Canada. Used, known and maintained by a prominent dealer there.Car was and remains used sparingly and taken around to exercise it in favorable weather only. On US Title, readily transferable or for export.
