You are bidding on a nice 1993 300 SL The body and interior are in great shape the paint is ok the seats look and feel new. New stereo.AMG wheels and new Sumitomo HTR Ztires. I replaced all of the front suspension and itdrivesvery tight and smooth.I have been driving this car now for around five years with no problems until now and the shop said the head gasket has given up at the rear or the head on an exhaust valve. The engine still runs smooth and strong but will heat up quickly if you drive it. However it will idle and stay cool so there is no damage done to the engine according to them. True miles unknown. It had 188K showing when I got it. I do not have the time or money to fix it now so my loss your gain.The shop told me the repair would be around $1500. The water damage was dried and fixed so there is no problems there.I also have my 1997 SL 320 for sale on ebay it only has 87K miles on it please take a look at it also I would make a package deal if you want both of them. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup or shipping.
