Presented here is a 190sl that is in the middle of a ground up restoration. The car is partially disassembled, currently sitting on all new and rebuilt suspension, braking, and chassis components. All the bodywork and paintwork has been completed on this car and is in excellent condition. There is no rust present on the car, and the entire underside looks like new, as it has not been driven since being restored. Included with this car is nearly everything to put it back together, with a majority of those parts already restored. This makes this car an excellent candidate for someone who wants a restored 190sl, as many of the expensive and time consuming parts of a restoration have already been completed. The engine has been rebuilt and is sitting in the engine bay for transportation purposes only. The gearbox is ready to be assembled and mated up to the engine so they can be installed in the car.
This car was recently pulled from a 100 car collection in it's current condition. The parts included with the car are well documented with photos and are organized by type for the new owner. Everything that is currently installed on the car is brand new and restored. This includes the wiring harness, all the suspension arms, springs, and dampers. The entire driveline minus the transmission is also installed in thecar currently, includinga fully restored rear differential. All new brake and clutch lines have been fabricated to original spec and fit the car beautifully. All four brake assemblies are fully assembled, restored, and ready to be bled. The fuel tank and fuel lines are also brand new and restored, with the finish on the fuel tank matching an original. It is obvious that the small details have been paid attention to so far in this restoration, such as panel fitment.
