This is a thoroughbred factory built car not a kit car. A replica is the only way to own a 300 SLR. They have never been sold by Mercedes and only live in the Mercedes museum in Hamburg Germany. There is only 7 of these replicas in existence and this is known to be the first of the 7 and the only one with a functional top and roll up windows. Fuches rims worth 12k alone.
The aluminum one sold for almost $400,000 and this is the only one on the market for sale, you will find some old ads online but those have long sold. Give the guy in that ad in Washington a call he can't figure out how to take his ad down for over 5 years!!! Please do your research and ask questions as to what exactly what we have here. It's truly unique and you probably won't see another one like it outside of a concourse. This car is here in my garage and ready for inspections. I can assist with delivery in my enclosed trailer within reason or have it ready for shipping.
