1983 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series 240D

1983 240D with 143,144 miles. Modified to also run on vegetable oil on a dual tank system (conversion was installed by a previous owner).
Currently the diesel tank is removed for cleaning. I have not re-installed it...just plain lost interest... so Bring a Trailer !
She ran well on both sources of fuel...very smooth on the veggie oil. Auto transmission shifted great.
Interior is in decent shape, needs a cleaning. Exterior appears to have original paint with a few common-area rust spots that need some love.
Most of the paint will shine with a nice detail, hood has some thin spots.
I installed new General tires that have zero miles on them. Includes a spare fuel tank and some misc. spare parts.
