1980 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

One owner 1980 Mercedes Benz 450SL, with only 37,000 miles. We purchased this car from another dealer with the intention of using it as a weekend cruiser. The other dealer, in FL, had purchased it from an estate sale in southern CA. The title is clear and shows only one other owner.
Upon receiving the car, we promptly spent over $6,000 to address the mechanical needs for this 38 year old classic. We installed new brakes, new shocks, new tie rods, brake calipers, addressed the a/c and heater (which frankly is problematic on all of these SL's).
The interior is a 8 of 10 and the paint is a 6 of 10. It appears to have had some paint work as we can see a bit of overspray, but generally with some wet sanding and clay bar treatment, it would look great. If you have any desire to have a classic, gorgeous roadster, we've started the renovation for you. You could drive as is today, it looks great from the 10' distance, or you could put a bit more effort into it and have a 10 out of 10.
It appears the only non stock item on the car is its set of wheels, which are from a later model (560?).
