Great condition 1968 Mercedes 220 d. This Mercedes-Benz 200 series diesel has the original paint, interior, motor of which all show and function very well. Comes with the factory injection pump that was recently replaced, Factory spec Headliner, many records and misc parts. A reconditioned Becker oem factory radio will be included for a buy it now winner to bring this car back to its OEM audio appearance(500 dollar + value) It has been converted to the newer style pencil glow plugs (kit purchased from mercedes source) for easier starting but the original inline glow components come with the kit.
Note this vehicle comes with a professionalmechanical inspection performed at 51,800 this vehicle got excellent (Like new, well maintained and requires no repair). scores on almost everything scored 85 out of 100. Good (No major defect, minor problems present)scores on valve cover, engine mounts (included in sell) air conditioning (not equipped), suspension. Inspection report available through email.
Alternator has been replaced with a new Bosch high output model. New engine mounts come with vehicle. Starts right up and runs well. I would drive this car anywhere. New AGM duracell battery. Shows 51k on the odometer and by the condition of all the components of the car this may be the total mileage. Minor rust on bumper Chrome and some body panels which I have tried to picture.
