Sold in Stuttgart, Germany on 28-Oct-1977 as a column shift automatic. Last recorded service in Germany was on 23-Oct-1991 with 53,617 kms on the odometer.Emigrated to Canada with original owner sometime between 1992 and 1995. First service recorded in Canada was in Vancouver on 13-Jun-1995 with 61,621 kms on the odometer. At some point in time the automatic transmission was swapped out with the 5 speed manual, which makes a very nice driving combination especially with the higher horsepower of the European spec motor. Drives straight and true and the brakes bring it down nice and straight also.Manual windows and electric sunroof. Rear windows need a little coaxing but they do go up and down.PO claimed odometer stopped working at about 106,000 kms and was immediately replaced. Replacement odometer now reads 9446 kms. Cannot verify mileage as original, but at oil changes the oil being replaced is as clean as it was when it went in.As seen in picture there is bubbling in the paint on the passenger side quarter panel. Body is very straight, no dents. Nice patina on roof. Missing piece of side trim is included as is the missing hat shelf behind the rear seats. Dash is crack free and a sun cover is included. As original there are no seat belts in the back. I also have H&R lowering springs which could be included for an extra $400.Last work included front upper L + R control arms, 4 brake calipers, brake fluid flush, oil and filter change, and Bilstein HD rear shocks. If you've been looking for a W123 Coupe with rare options and updates, this could be the one!
