Low mileage 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300D TurboUp for sale is a 1985 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo Diesel with low mileage (has only 150k miles). Has nice interior considering its age, was always garage on early years as per previous owner. This W124 model 6 cylinder diesel which is increasingly rare these days. Clean and clear California Title, and always been a California car.
It was only used as daily commute by previous owner for the past 29 years, then parked it on driveway for the last three years when brand new car came. He has other car and van so between the four vehicles, he never had a chance to drive this car since then. The engine was started recently and it fired up right away, it always starts on the first try even though it was stored for three years. It runs well on the freeway but a little rough on idle. The mechanic think it may only need the tank flush to remove the old diesel fuel (that changed chemical composition) it's not as good as fresh diesel.
The AC used to work before parked for long time, it may require Freon; the cassette stereo turns on but no sound; sun roof does not open; one of the rear windows does not roll down; two tires need to be replaced; paint clear coat is fading... If all are fixed, this car value would be around $6000 or more since it has low mileage. There are lots of online information, or social media like YouTube for this year car model under.
Being in the garage for most of its life, the interior has been preserved and the body is solid with only normal imperfections, without any accidents. It comes with all the original manuals as shown on the pictures.
