This car was purchased my friend/client approximately 7 years ago. You can tell from the undercarriage that this car is an excellent example and has been kept in indoors for it's entire life.

Below is the letter from my client who is selling the car:

Hello Peter,

I bought this European W111 coupe in late 2010 and put about 500 miles on it. When purchased, it ran and drove fine with no known issues except that a/c did not cool. The blower for the a/c ran fine, but did not blow cool. All power windows worked and the interior (black leather) was new. The windshield wood has not been refinished, but is included. The drivers door had some minor damage that occurred during storage, and the since the car had been re-painted with a mediocre quality finish, I decided to repaint the entire car in correct 1970 Mercedes silver. I brought the car to Sonn in Ft Worth who stripped the car correctly, and painted the car properly. During this process, the paint shop recommended that I consider re-chroming the bumpers and trim, so I agreed to have that work completed also.

Then, in 2015, after the car had not been started in a few months, I took car to a local shop and had the fuel tank pulled and cleaned. Since then, it has been parked in the rear of a climate controlled warehouse. The last time I saw the car it would start easily, yet has not been driven much since the service has been completed. The current mileage is in the 80,K range.

Please go take some pictures of the car and look it over closely. I would like you to find it a good home and sell it for me. You know I have at least $30,000 invested in this car. I have given you bottom dollar price, and trust you will help me get the best offer based on the market conditions.

Thanks, Dennis
