1989 Mercedes-Benz 190-Series Blue

Alas, the day has come that I must part with my 190D...my baby Benz. I feel bad that I am selling it, but it needs a new home. I have tried to keep in it in good running condition and planned on restoring it completely. However, things in my life have changed and I need to part with it. I have all the maintenance records on it since the day I bought it and can provide those to the person who buys it.
Ok, here is all I know and can tell you about this car. It is a diesel obviously, and it still runs good. It is not the turbo version, so it is slower on take off. Once going it cruises along like a dream. I purchased it (used) from an ebay seller over 6-7 years ago from New Jersey. It was in a fender bender and had been repaired. The title is NOT a salvage tile nor a rebuilt title. It is a clear title and I have done my best to keep it maintained. I have really enjoyed this car. It has been my daily driver because it is such a good car, a comfortable car and a smooth driving car. I just turned over 287662k miles on it. My mechanic has told me on more than one occasion that the engine is sound and still has a good long life ahead of it, in fact he said, "...the engine will still be running when the body has rusted off." Yes it is an old car, yes it has some wear but the leather seats are not split and neither is the dash. I am not going to lie, it still needs some TLC but it is still a good running car. If you know anything about diesel engines, they are just getting broken by now.
•Some of the trim pieces have come loose from the passenger side because the plastic clips have finally disintegrated. I still have the trim pieces and have new clips to re-attach them.
•The rear bumper has some cracks in it and I have a replacement bumper to go on. It will need to be painted to match.
•The driver door panel has come loose along the top edge next to the window. I am looking for a replacement from a junk yard etc.
•The clock and temperature gauges did not work when I got it and still don't.
•Fuel gauge works some of the time and sometimes not, I just go by my mileage for now. •The tachometer did work, but eventually stopped. Odometer still works as does the speedometer. I have another gauge cluster to go in it.
•The cruise control switch is broke, just haven't replaced it yet.
•The rear window motor went bad right after I replaced the switch. I will be replacing fairly soon. All other windows work fine.
•AC works, but needs to be charged.
•Have a full size original spare tire in trunk.
I am asking the low retail from the NADA website because of age/condition. This is all I can think of for now. I have the car is listed on other for sale sites as well. If interested, contact me and I will do my best to answer any questions or concerns you may have. If you can pick up locally that is best but if not, call and we'll make arrangements to meet. (no more than 200miles) I can be contacted at: serenity at peace and logic dot com or 865 nine eight two 2555 or 865 eight nine eight 1291. Thanks for looking.
