1982 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series

Up for sale is my 1982 Mercedes 240D.
A little history on the car. The car has only had 3 owners. I have owned the car for 4 years and I am a retired military officer. I purchased it from a Postal Master whom lived in Florida he owned it for 2 years and he purchased it from the original owner she was also a Postal Master where the car was purchased in Florida and kept there its whole life except for the 4 years I have owned it and it has been kept in a garage in East Tennessee. It has never been used in snow.
I am selling the car because I have sold my garage and don't have anywhere to store it.
The car has a little over 165,550 miles on it. It doesn't have any notable rust. The trunk is also solid as are the fenders take a look at pictures they tell the story. I had the car painted 4 years ago because paint was faded the only place they ran the paint was under the rear window you will see it in picture its not rust just where they ran the paint.
The Positive things about the car and please feel free to ask me any questions and I will answer them to the best of my ability
1. Air conditioning blows cold2. Interior in good shape3. No notable rust in body. See pictures body is true and straight4. Gauges Work5. Roll up windows so no electric motors to go bad6. Head Liner in good shape7. Nice paint on car not a show car but nice paint job8. Engine runs well9. Brand new battery in car10. Gets very good mileage11. Nice Kenwood cd style stereo with a remote control12. I keep extra fuel filters in the trunk, extra fan belts, extra oil filters etc. I keep these things on hand for when we might need them especially a fuel filter a diesel will not go without good fuel filters. All my extra parts go with the car. I also have 2 Mercedes Service Manuals for Chassis that go with car as-well-as the original owners manual.

The not so positive things about car.1. It is not a brand new car if your looking for brand new please buy brand new.2. The cruise control currently is not working. I had the brain re-built for it so that is good. The sensor in speedometer is good. The controller under hood has recently stopped working recently and will need a new one if you want cruise control.3. These cars don't have a lot of power that is normal for them.4. I am sure their are a few things but generally a decent safe dependable car for the money.
