You are bidding on a relatively low mileage 1983 W123 wagon. This car has been a daily driver for me, but the control arms on the front are starting to wear out and I can't really afford to replace them.
General condition: Engine and transmission run very well, interior and exterior in good shape, only 1 or 2 minor rust spots on trunk and left rear quarter panel.
Suspension: The car needs new front control arms, and the rear suspension has been converted from the pneumatic (which had failed) to a conventional arrangement.
AC: The system has been converted to use modern refrigerant, but the compressor is bad and needs to be replaced.
Other info: Glow-plug relay works inconsistently and likely needs replacement. I use ether/starting fluid sprayed into the air intake to start it up with no problems. Has newer CD player. Power windows work well. Pneumatic locks work for about 10 minutes after stopping the car.
