Description:

1964 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series sedan

Rare 1964 Mercedes-Benz 220 SEB Heckflosse. A beautiful four door car, heavy and solid as it can be. The previous owner had done a good amount of restoration to the exterior in 2011, including paint, rubber door seals and weather stripping. The bumpers were also re-chromed at that time. Car has original hubcaps and new Michelin tires. A small piece of vertical chrome from the front grill is missing. Overall the exterior is in great shape, and what a beauty it is. The interior of the car needs some work. Previous owner had it re-upholstered, but not with Mercedes Benz seat covers. There is a box of trim pieces for the interior which will come along with the car, including original wood dash and dash molding and extra door trims. These need to be refinished and applied. Headliner is new, gauges appear to be working. No radio and no spare tire. Aside from the work that the interior needs, the car is extremely roomy and comfortable. When I purchased the car in Sept. of 2016 it had not been driven for two years. Upon receiving the car I took it to a very well known mechanic in Winchester, Kentucky who specializes in vintage Mercedes. The car wants to run, but needs a fuel pump in order to do so. Wiring and wire terminals need work. With attention, this car will be a knock out and will continue to grow in value due to its rarity. Please email or call with any questions that you may have.
