Description:

1972 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series

Here is a very nice ride! A fairly rare car with a two year production of less than 14000 cars. Even more rare is the floor shift automatic transmission as most were column shift. This a a Mercedes Benz W108 chassis.
1972 Mercedes Benz 280SE 4.5L V8 fuel injected gasoline engine showing approx 108700 miles, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, electric windows, rare floor shift, stainless exhaust, a great 20 footer, nice interior, headliner good, power windows work, all glass good, Sony radio works and sounds good, engine starts and runs good, just tuned up with new wires, cap, rotor, plugs, rebuilt fuel pump, fuel tank professionally cleaned and sealed, new brake calipers, rotors, pads and new front brake lines, oil and filter change, trans fluid change, new wiper blades, just greased. Chrome looks great! Paint looks good but some cracking and discoloration on the passenger rear door and rear fender. Some minor surface rust just starting to appear in all the usual places. This car needs a few repairs, mainly dash lights, climate control levers, the previously mentioned rust and paint, the a/c is a little cold but needs charged, there is some vibration when driving but I have driven it up to 70mph. Basically a great restoration candidate or show driver that appears mostly original. Previous owner had it garaged for over 25 years. Clear Maryland title in hand. Sold as is, where is, no warranty, no refunds, no returns.
