What we have here is a 1952 Mercedes Benz 220s - W187. This car is a partially completed project that has been painted (some time ago so has a few checks and cracks) a rich forest green and which has a serviceable and complementary interior finished in a light tan cloth with green vinyl/leather accents. This is a perfect and rare car for you to take on as a very attractive project. This car has a clear Illinois Title .
This 1952 Mercedes Benz 220S is powered by the M180 six cylinder 2195cc engine producing 80 hp; essentially the engine that was still used by Mercedes in the six cylinder S series cars of the 70's. This motor is coupled to a 4 Speed manual transmission; both the motor and the transmission turn freely by hand. The car is missing its bumpers front and rear. This is a very desirable car and in this condition will not last long. Check out the photographs and you will get a good sense of what you are buying.
