1993 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series

I buy the best I can find Mercedes and then make them one of a kind special. Last year I was interested in making the best w140 Turbo Diesel combination I could think of. I searched and searched for one with a clean example with no smoking, major issues and a good service history. I wanted it to have all options and everything addressed that usualy fails on these. This year I finished it. What a car!! Here's what I have to offer. 1993 Mercedes 300SD that has 173,300 original miles. I have service history an inch thick since way back on this one. I have the books and keys. Transmission has been redone at 120k, turbo has been redone, and the usual service items. Then I wanted to take this car to the next level. I did the glass roof conversion. That required the entire assembly to be swapped from a donor car. The parts that operate the sunroof were made to work perfectly since I was able to acess all points. This car was apart so I had parts of the interior covered in suede like the S600. The leather interior of this car is SPOTLESS and soft. Heated front seats are a super feature that is very rare for a 300SD. The carpets are fresh and clean with no damage or stains. The factroy floor mats are spotless. The door panels are spotless. The dash has no cracks of damage. All of the zebrano wood is very nice. The rear deck is black and gray suede done custom as well. Brand new Sony Stereo with bluetooth hands free, front usb, aux ports, and remote only a week old. The speakers are all brand new with new wiring so this modern system works properly. This car is a highway cruiser so these things are a must. The windows are tinted with 3M window film top of the line. Not a mark on it. Keeps the interior cool in the sun and adds privacy. The air conditioning pumps out 27 degree air on an 81 degree day!! The heating system works just fine as well. Notice the factory chrome 8 hole chrome wheels! Another rare feature not common but on a black S class looks stunning!! The tires are 200 miles old and all matching brand new. The spare is factory and like new. The brakes are just about brand new 4 rotors and all pads. The headlights are updated to the newer version with a better fog light and more modern looking cornering light. All of the interior bulbs have been changed as well as console lights. These are beautiful when lit up at night. The emblems are 24k gold plated. Under the hood: The motor has been redone at 104k. Piston rings, valves ect. Picture shows receipt. I had a new New style Vacuum pump installed as a precaution. (had old style one and failure can damage the motor). All vacuum lines and connectors are newer and done correctly. Brand new Glow plugs, intake gasket and fuel hoses. New fuel, air, and cabin filters are done. This one has the plug to warm the motor in below zero weather but the car was not used in bad weather. Works though. Brand new large size battery. The exhaust system is all in very nice condition and all original components and not missing any. The oil and filter was changed about 600 miles ago. The transmission was just serviced at the same time. The fluid looked cherry red. The car runs and drives strong. This is the best highway car!! Large size and 32 MPG! Loaded up with features. Fold in mirrors, power rear view and side mirrors, power antenna and reversing antennas all work. Cruise works once in a while. The car makes a few drips when parked from the pan. This car is the quickest turbo diesel of the 20 plus that I have driven. It is not evident that it is diesel and feels like a gas powered car. I really like that. I can have my Wife use it and she doesn't even know the difference. The body is nice and clean as you can see. The car has original paint on the whole car!! That's pretty uncommon in 2016 to see that. Just look at the finish. I kept this baby pampered!! All of the windows function as they should. The locks work with the key only and it closes the sunroof as well. The bottom of this car is really clean as well. From new they use a really nice coating that protects them from elements. I have a clean title. Not salvage, rebuilt or with any liens. CLEAN! I charge no extra fees in my auctions. I always have to part with my artwork in order to begin more Mercedes.
