This 1976 Mercedes 450SL is a two owner car It spent its first 25 years in California and the last owner brought it to NC in 2002. It has always been kept in a garage. It has both the hard and soft tops. Both tops are in excellent condition. This car is rust free. The paint is in great condition except for a few minor scratches that could be touched up. There are no dents or dings that I have seen. All the rubber is supple and looks good. This car has not been restored and it certainly does not look 40 years old. All the chrome is straight and shines as new. Zoom in on the pictures and take a good look. There are some minor imperfections, ut it is the newest looking unrestored antique car I have seen in a long time. Mechanically it is just as good as it looks. It is ready to be driven anywhere. The dash does have the obligatory crack in it. New covers are available for about a hundred dollars. This is a car any collector would be pleased to own.
