1981 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 380SL

I'm listing this super nice 1981 Mercedes 380SL for a friend who's husband bought it brand new in 1981. The car has never been wrecked. Owner told me that it had a partial respray at one point when it was quite new because of overspray from fence painting. I don't see any signs of bad masking or blending, o it must have been a really high dollar job.
The car has been used as a fair weather toy for the last several years. Always garage kept, nd maintenance taken care of. I drove the car myself, nd it drives smooth and straight. No rattles engine noises, ransmission growls, tc. it goes, hifts, teers, nd stops the way it should. Heater blows warm. Owner stated that a/c blows cold but may need to be recharged.
There is a place on the hood, ery small, ut looks like hood was closed on something. Small surface discoloration around rear wheel wells, ut I didn't see any bubbling. Seat trim piece is missing on driver side as shown in pic. There is a small mark on the back bumper as shown in pic and back bumper is a little skewed as if the bumper shock on one side got stuck in the bumped position. Probably a very easy fix. The fan shroud also has a hole in it as you can see. There are really no other flaws on this car to speak of. It's really very nice.
I think the starting price is fair for a car this nice. Seller is motivated but won't give it away.
