1985 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300 CD

I am selling my 1985 MB CD Turbo Diesel with 79,788 Miles on the clock. I bought this vehicle on ebay in July of 2010 as a one owner vehicle with 49,000 miles on the clock for US$18,995.00.

Since taking ownership I have serviced the vehicle regularly and spent approx. US$9000.00 including a set of Michelin Tyres at 60,000 miles. I have receipts for all of the work carried out on the vehicle since I purchased it. The vehicle looks as good as the day I bought it, exceptional condition) and everything including the original Becker Radio Cassette, un roof, lock,electric aerial and cruise control is functional. Under my ownership, he vehicle has been driven less than 6,000 miles per year and is always garaged. In order for me to maintain my current collector's car insurancefor the insured amount of US$ 20,000.00, t is stipulated that the vehicle cannot be driven more than 7,500 miles per year and it must be kept garaged when not in use.

I think my asking price more than reflects a fair price, or someone that specifically desires one of these beautiful machines. Probably not for someone wanting to buy and sell it on. When I bought the car, was specifically looking for this model and year of manufacture, o to me the purchase price seemed reasonable. I am hoping that a buyer(s) with the same philosophy is out there. I still havehard copies of the original ebay posting from when I bought the vehicle in 2010, lus copies of all the exchanged emails between myself and the previous owner relating to the purchase of the vehicle in 2010. When I bought it, he Carfax indicated that the vehicle was involved in a minor incident on 10/31/2002. The previous owner advised that this was a parking lot inciden, ith no damage to any vehicle, ut the police were called, ence the accident had to be reported. I have this statement also on email from the previous owner, nd when I took possession of the vehicle there was absolutely no visible sign of damage to the vehicle.

In July of 2014 the vehicle was subject toa rear impact (low speed) in Houston, exas. Although the damage to my carcould be consideredslight, runk would not close properly and damage to rear bumper, he body shop repair bill came to US$3000.00. The body shop (Excel Collision Repair Center in Houston, x)carriedouta beautiful job and even performed some "improvements" which has made the car even stronger. I have copies of this repair invoice and certainly have no issue should any interested party wish to contact them to verify the extent of the repair. I have been located in Houston, exas since 2012 and have the vehicle regularly serviced at "Todays European Cars" on Richmond Avenue in Houston, exas.

In summary, his is a truly wonderful example of a classic MB 300CD. I have endeavored to diligently maintain the mechanical integrity and overall appearance of the vehicle since it came into my possession. I am thereforecertain that any true Mercedes aficionado, ill cherish owning this outstanding classic vehicle.
