Description:

1990 Mazda Miata

Why pay over $6000 for a custom golf cart that barely goes 20 mph and has limited range? This bad boy will do well over 60 mph and has a range of 40 mile @ 50 mph. It is legal on all streets, day or night!

It is a 1990 Mazda Miata, converted to pure electric, powered by 35 Li-Ion batteries, and driven by a 9" diameter motor that can spin tires in first or reverse. It has a manual transmission, but don't worry - you usually only use 2nd and reverse, and never use the clutch unless you upshift to 3rd at 45 mph. It will get you all over town with speed and style. Plug it in to a 110-volt outlet to recharge overnight. Or recharge in 4 hours if you have access to 220-volts. With a convertible top and power windows, you are even ready for inclement weather. Maintenance is similar to a golf cart: keep the tires inflated and the batteries charged.

This vehicle is perfect for your high-schooler. It cost about 5 cents a mile to operate. No heat or A/C, so this car is better suited to the south. Located in Beaufort, SC. Buyer must arrange transport.
