1987 Mazda RX-7 rare turbo bodyUp for sale is my awesome 1987 rare turbo body with a professionally done v8 conversion. The car is the ultimate blend of sports car and raw American v8 muscle! I received this car in a trade deal, t was way too cool to pass up, ut it's a 2 seater and I have 2 kids that want to cruise with me. The car is a total sleeper looks bone stock from the outside but will blow the doors off most cars out there. I will break the car car down and give all the specifics that I received about the car. The car has thousands invested my asking price doesn't even cover what's in the motor.The body: a nice clean 75k rare turbo body that is in great shape. The paint is nice I would say 8 out of 10 shines very nice, rim is real nice. The body has a few small dents here and there but overall very nice.The interior: clean mostly original with aftermarket gauges, ach, il pressure, ater temp, uel leve, uel pressure. The seats are in good condition as well as carpet. The moon roof has no power to i, o I have no idea if it works. The dash has no cracks, he original radio and gauges are dead. There is a new alpine deck hidden in the glove box, nd new rear kenwood rear speakers.The rims : look to be original but not sure. they are 16" and they need tires.The motor: this is what I was told from last owner only 5k since build early 350 block 30 over with a eagle 383 stroker forged cran, ew 11 1/2 to 1 forged Pistons with forged rods. Pro comp aluminum heads, e thinks they were 2:05 valves. 1.7 aluminum roller rockers. Pro comp cam, hoppy decent idea sounds great. Weiand high rise manifold, olley 850 double pumper. Holley blue electric fuel pump, ith aluminum fuel regulator. Big custom headers with professionally done exhaust with cutouts for open headers. They flow to rear of car with huge stainless steel mufflers that were selected to look original and to quite the car for the sleeper effect. MSD 6al box with MSD distributor, ew cap, ire, lugs, otor etc. Big 4 core aluminum radiator with electric fan.The transmission: worked turbo 350. Hardend sprag, &m clutch packs, ull reverse manual valve body. Shift kit, &m 3500 stahl convertor. Trans cooler and has a trans brake that is not wired . I was told it does work.This car is an awesome sleeper car only weighs about 2600 pounds and I was told car made 480 hp . It also has a 200 shot of nitrous that has never been used but was put on the car when built. The last owner thought the car was way too fast and never hooked up the nitrou, can see by wires it's never been used.
i have crusied with the car in 90 degree wheather and the car stays cool between 160-180. the car is a nice cruiser that is dependable yet you could open headers and slicks and go racing. the car runs great no smoke no noises. the rear is a 4:11 posi with independent suspension.
the car only needs a few things to be perfect: tires, as a small tranny leak at the lines near the trans; i have back issues and can not get down to tighten the lines.the fuel regultor hose that goes to the gauge in the car needs to be replaced, ut it does have a gauge at the fuel line near carb. it needs a differnt air clener then the one that is on the car, t sucks so much air it pulls the element into the carb. the car drives great and stops with no issues. this car was professinally built, ts not a hack job. it is adult owned and never beaten on or raced. The reserve is only 8100 !!!! So bid!!!!
