Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this nice Lotus Esprit. This car was recently purchased from the dry state of Arizona from a car trade professional. The car sat dormant for a short period of time, so our mechanic recently spent some hours getting the car back on the road, driving nicely. This car presents very well in an exciting and handsome color scheme.The body on this car looks exceptionally good. The car was nicely repainted a few years back in it's current green color, but according to the car's trim tag it was originally delivered new in silver. Paintwork overall is quite nice, rich, and glossy. The car has acquired about 6-7 chips that could be professionally repaired for a good result. All of the the car's panels fit well with no signs of damage.At the time of the repaint, the car's interior was also treated to a complete quality retrim in Magnolia with leather seats, along with a new headliner. The interior still looks quite fresh and clean.Mechanically, the car starts easily, revs well, runs, drives and stops fine. It feels very taught and crisp on the road, with precise gearchange linkage and sharp suspension and steering, all clearly showing it's low mileage. There is a maintenance sheet included with the car showing it's last record of 20,658 miles on 12/28/09...Recent work includes a fuel pump, water pump, quality Gates belt and tensioner bearing.The car needs a few knick-knacks. The windshield is cracked and needs replacement. The driver's door mirror needs tightening up, it droops down. The car needs the correct steering-lock ignition switch fitted. The license plate plastic surround is broken and needs replacing. The air cleaners/ air hoses need refitting.Overall, a low mileage and exciting S2 Esprit in great colors.
