1969 Lincoln Continental

Up for auction this week is a 1971 LINCOLN Continental with a big 7.5 liter460 cubic inch motor with a C-6 transmission. Both the motor and transmission have been rebuild through previous original owner and are matching numbers for the car.
The motor has been maintained professionally by a licensed mechanics and have loads of receipts from previous owner and current owner. New brakes front and rear with a new master cylinder and fluid. New water pump and belt and spark plugs and wires and cap and rotor. Battery's new as well as NEW carburetor just installed last week. The gas tank has been removed, oiled and sealed and reinstalled. Radiator has been boiled and pressure tested and reinstalled as well.
The body on the car has been ground down to bare metal and professionally painted at Macco. My local Macco treats me right on my cars due to buying everyone lunch while the car is getting worked on. Really helps to make the car get the attention that it deserves from the employees.PPG DP-90 Sealer and then 5 coats of high build primer, hen sanded and 5 more coats of primer was applied then final sanded to a smooth finish. Wet sanded and then a basecoat clear coat was applied and then baked in Macco's spray booth.Car has a incredible paint job that looks great. Minor rock chips and slight imperfections are on car due to being driven.
The inside of the car is original. Black split bench with arm rests with leather insets still shows nicely for the cars age. Slight imperfections, mall scratches and one small tear in material in driver seat back is present the size of a quarter on the seat back. Headliner of the car is perfect and all the over head console lights light up when doors open or that lights are on or hazard all work. The cars heater works fine and pumps heat like it should. Wipers work on both settings and AC compressor spins freely but has not been recharged since bought. All the gauges work from the gas level to speedo and shift indicator. Head lights work and so do tail lights and all turn signals.New rug has been installed and any and all chrome on this car has been professionally polished. Chrome shines nicely on the front and rear bumpers as well as the grill. Car must have spent most of its life in a garage to still have shine like this still.
Engine compartment has been detailed and trunk has be cleaned out and POR-15 was applied to preserve trunks life for years to come.Car's tires just got a new set of 15 inch Hankook tires that are balanced and makes the car go STRAIGHT down the street. Car drives like a magic carpet ride. Smooth, uxurious and classy is the feel the car provides as it floats down the street. So comfortable you'll think your driving you couch. The windows for the driver and passenger side need an auto electrician to look at whats going on. Windows are able to be up but do not go down at this time. Clock in dash is inop as well.Every piece of chrome on this car was taken off, leaned andlabeled and polished to HIGH luster then installed after paint job was applied.I have tried to best describe this car to the best of my ability and if there is a question or concern on the car I would be more that happy to answer any and all questions you may have. OR if there is a angle of the car you need to see or a better one that I have provided I would be more than happy to help. The car is sold in As Is condition with no expressed warranty.
