Description:

1984 Lincoln Town Car

This car is anunbelievable find ... its a ONE owner, true barn findthat has been sitting under cover and piles of blankets for decades. I pulled the car out ofthe barn located in Chuckey, TN several weeks ago and put it on a trailer and hauled it home to GA.
I dropped the carat my trusted mechanic of over 20 years and told him to spare no expense to make the car road worthy again. We did just that:
All fluids were changedNew brakes andcalipersNew tires installedGas tank removed and cleanednewpickup in tanknew fuel pump installedany burned out bulbs were replacedpower antenna was refurbishedThe car was washed, cleanedandvacuumed ...
This car is a serious 80's color of GREEN inside and out, when was the lasttime you saw that??? Or a factory CB!!!! Talk about odd/rare/ugly ... lol ....
Now, EVERYTHING on this car operates as it did in 1984, with the exception of the clock (Ididn't want to tear the dashapart to get to it) ....
Cruise control holds perfectAll power options work as newAC is original R-12 and will FREEZE you out ...The FACTORY CB works perfect and willinterrupt the radio as designeddepending onwhere the squelch is set ...The CB antenna is intact and it works perfect!!EVERY light works, even the little ones in the key holes!!! As do the ones in the vanity mirrors!!The paint and the painted pinstripes are near perfectThe GLASS is in amazing conditionThe chrome shines very well as does the "plastic chrome"The lights and lenses are in amazing conditionThere are ZERO rips or tears in the interior!!Door cards are PERFECT, carpet too!!All buttons, controls, cigarette lighters, mirrors and switches look unused andconsistent with a 15,000 mile car ...All the fillers are in near perfect condition and really look near perfect (actually they look new, but they are original)
The car hits theroad just like its supposed to and really drives like a new car. No shakes, no rattles, no nothing, but a smooth and quietride, as expected in 1984 .... Thetransmission shifts like butterandthe ride is really like being in a time capsule. Even the originalfloor mats look unused. THE VIN tags areintact and prove that all the panels areoriginal to this car ...
Because it sat in a barn, there are a few negatives and things Ididn't want to mess with in order to preserve its "this is just as I found it"authenticity .... Belts, hoses, and clamps were left alone, they were fine, not dry rotted, and I wanted toleave themoriginal. See the pix, as there is a small blemish on the front of the pass side fender (scratch where it meets the filler) and on very small one where it meets the A pillar ... the headliner in a climate controlled garage sags in a few small places -- when its outside in the heat, its almost notnoticeable. I did NOT WANT to paint the car or change anything that it did come with with theexception ofmaintenance and wear items ....The underside has the typical surface rust of any car that did not sit in a climate controlled environment its whole life ... (I have a 1984 Park Avenue with 18000miles that has beenpampered from new and it even has some!!!)
I did not detail the engine or underside or try to hide anything on this car ... It got what it needed, washed, waxed, andvacuumed ... THATS IT !!! The next owner could makethis a show winner by detailing it .... IMO, it would already very presentable and would win any survivor class. The pix do the car no justice and must be seen in person. I can take any pix or videos fro a serious buyer, just let meknow what you need. I have the ORIGINAL title and the one from the kid who inherited this car ... both are clear and ready to betransferred to the new owner ....
BID TO OWN!!! LOOK at my feedback on very expensive items!!! ITS 100%!!! Please contact me if you have negative or zero feedback,as the car is seriously for sale, and I intend to sell the car on ebay this week .... questions?? Jason @ 770 two zero six 0168.
