1978 Lincoln Mark Series Mark V

We are selling this car which belonged to my late father-in-law, it must be sold to settle the estate. Ask any questions and we'll try to answer them to the best of ourability. What we know about the car is listed below. Thank you for looking.
You are looking at a very nice driver quality 1978 Lincoln Mark V.

I say driver quality because there are so many subjective descriptions you see on on the Internet. It has 69,000 miles. The paint on the car is good, but by no means perfect, as it does have some cosmetic blemishes in it. But it has a nice shine as it wears an "ok" respray (our opinion) which was done some years ago, circa 1989. Because the car has been garage kept most of it's life...the frame is solid, and the carriage top is soft and supple, with no cracks, rips or tears. The dashboard top has no cracks in it either. The seat upholstery is in good shape and so is the rug. Headliner is good too. Door panels are in good shape as well.
Vehicle has additional-cost factory optioned carriage top, as well as the full moonroof, and interior lighting package upgrade (lighted vanity mirror, dome overhead map lights.
Almost all Mark V's trap moisture...around the vinyl roof, moon roof, etc....not on this one. Interior and trunk is dry with no condensation after a washing.
Chrome is in decent shape, some of the side trim has some scratches on it, but it's all there and intact. All lenses are there and intact as well.
Car gets looks wherever it goes. It has a beautiful elegant color combination with factory moonroof. Definitely a sharp car.
The motor runs strong and quiet. Exhaust is new from the catalytic converter back (including resonator) tires are approximately 2 years old and good (with no dry rot) and are all matching Firestone FR21 with period correct 1 and 3/4 " wide white walls.
Recently replaced radiator, antifreeze, upper and lower radiator hoses, battery, high pressure power steering line, alternator and coil, as well as a recent oil change.
Even the Cartier clock works...with a nice sweeping motion of the minute hand. Keeps pretty good time, too.Car has cruise control, air conditioning, factory moonroof, power trunk, delay wipers, dual note horn, power seats, reclining seats, RARE OPTION FACTORY REAR DISC BRAKES, AND FULL ASTROROOF, full size spare tire appears to have never been used...still has original crayon marks on it. Trunk is clean, dry and solid.
This is not by any means a perfect car, but a good weekend cruiser, or excellent candidate to turn it into a trailer queen. If you are looking for a perfect car, stop reading now and look elsewhere.

The above mentioned vehicle has been described to the best of my ability, and as is the case with all pre-owned vehicles, the condition is subjective. I am not a mechanic nor a car dealer. It is to be assumed that all used vehicles have some degree of wear; as such I assume no responsibility for omissions or errors in my description. The vehicle is sold in "AS IS WHERE IS"condition with no guarantees or warranties written or implied. Please be advised that no oral statements made concerning the vehicle constitute any warranty for this vehicle....

Hagerty values this car in good condition at $11,200 and in fair condition at $7,300. My reserve is substantially lower than that. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a classic Lincoln at a fraction of the cost.
