Land Rover saw its 88 and 109 models showing their age a bit in 1983 and decided to move forward with a new and more aggressive model. The 110 model was a project that started in 1979 when the 3.5L V8 engines became available in the rugged base models, but the idea didn't fully take off until the 1984 year. Fast forward to 1993 and you have D110 models, built in a limited capacity, making their way to the United States. With only 500 showing up, they were few and far between -- making these fabulous SUV's even more desirable. This example is #2 of 500 built for the U.S. and was driven and enjoyed in New York for over 2 decades. This NAS 110 was fully restored in March of 2017. A new galvanized frame created the base of what would become one of the best NAS 110 machines on the planet. The body panels were removed and painted, the interior was treated to a color matched Linex surface, and the paint is a spectacular Mercedes Designo Magno Monza Gray and the hood & roof finished in Java Black.
