NOTE: THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN DENIA, SPAIN, but I ship tothe USA. Please check my feedback, and please read the entire listing before bidding.
I am an American, living in Spain, and I sell and export vehicles to the USA regularly. Although shipping costs are not included in the price of the sale, I work every month with an established worldwide shipper and will work directly with the buyer to arrange delivery to the USA. I will drop the vehicle off at the port of Valencia for you at no additional cost, prepare all the proper documentation for shipping to the USA, and handle all the US customs and importation on the USA side.
If you would like me to handle the shipping, customs paperwork, and everything for you, the cost is a flat-rate of $2500, port-to-port, to your choice of Baltimore, MD or Jacksonville, FL or Freeport (Galveston), TX. No additional costs. No work on your part. You just pick the car up from the port, fully cleared and released.
Once the vehicle is in your possession, you will also have all the documents you need to register the car in 49 states (California excepted). I can even arrange transportation within the USA, from the port to your driveway. In short, I am here to help with every step of the process of delivering this vehicle to you.
You are of course welcome to fly here and test the car for yourself before you bid, but if that is not feasible, I will be happy to take additional photos, videos, etc. and send them to you. Whatever you need. We can speak on the telephone, or by Skype, so you can see the vehicle in real time before you bid.
If you have any questions, please ask and I will post as many answers here as possible.

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
Always beautifully cared for since new by just two Land Rover enthusiasts, and benefitting from a recently major engine refresh, it has been prepared for serious adventure use and looks fantastic inside and out.
Recent Warwick Green paint shines beautifully and all body panels are straight and true with no filler. Door gaps are excellent and all three doors and the hood open, close and lock correctly. Exterior modifications include an "exoskeleton" roll cage, steering rack guard, side-outlet exhaust, snorkel, five 15"x10" NATO-style wheels, five new 33x12.5x15 Cooper Discoverer STT tires, LED top light bar, twin Ironman offroad driving lamps, redirected front fender vents, diamond plate fender tops, a swingaway rear tire carrier, and a heavy-duty winch fitted inside a matching front bumper. Not visible from the exterior is a bespoke onboard air compressor system with a standard air line fitting below the driver's seat.
Inside, the interior features a sport steering wheel, recently reupholstered front seats, recently reupholstered folding rear benches, a dash-mounted inclinometer, an all-digital stereo head unit with headliner mounted speakers, diamondplate floor mats, and custom center console with cup holders.
Underneath, the chassis is straight and entirely rust free. No rust anywhere.
With dramatic curb appeal, it cuts a monstrous figure everywhere it goes, but it hasn't been built purely for looks. This rig has been mechanically assembled and maintained without regard for cost to be used anywhere its owner wishes to use it. On road or off, in town or in the harshest off road environments.
WHAT'S IT LIKE TO DRIVE?
Somewhat surprisingly, it's incredibly civilized. A twist of the left-handed key fires the engine instantly, with no drama, clatter, or undue smoke. The side-exit exhaust burbles away menacingly under the drivers door, and the controls fall immediately to hand. The clutch is light, positive, and takes up the right height, and the gearchange is slick and positive.
Underway, the 200tdi engine, which was overhauled less than 50,000 miles ago, pulls like a train, and running up or down through the gears is quick work, with no hesitation or balkiness. Peak power is excellent, and with the broad, fat swell of torque available anywhere off idle, it can be short shifted and driven gently while still keeping up with modern traffic. Even the massive tires are remarkably quiet on tarmac, and although they get noisier as speed increases, it will happily maintain modern highway speeds without the mind-numbing roar of most trail rubber. The power steering is light and direct, and the truck brakes powerfully with no noise, vibration or pulling. On the roadways, it is a delight.
Get it into the tough stuff, though, and this Defender really comes into its own. The purpose-built suspension is well controlled and comfortable, but when combined with the oversized tires it gives the rig astonishing capability in soft, uncertain terrain. With the Defender's long spring travel and AWD system, coupled with the additional ground clearance, it will get you over or through anything you can't drive around.
It's a serious rig, this. Mechanically perfect, needing nothing, and beautifully set up for adventure use, all the important money has already been invested. It merely needs a new owner who is ready to use it properly.
