1990 Land Rover Defender 130 Crew Cab

1990 Land Rover Defender 130 2.5td I picked up this truck while I was stationed overseas. It used to be green and the tub had a partial station wagon conversion. I removed the paneling covering the tub and resprayed the truck to its original color of white. The body work/paint was completed in November 2016. This is not a full body off restoration. Where possible, I replaced all external gaskets, seals, and hardware (hinges, nuts/bolts stainless). The engine runs well, butmind it's age/mileage. The overall condition of the frame and bulkhead is very good. To get it to a great condition, I have a quote from Independent Land Rover in Bethesda, MD for addressing some problematic rust areas on the bulkhead, footwells, front seatbox, and left front outrigger. Dean Kruuse at ILR provided a top end quote of $3000, but indicated he could get the cost down as well. Feel free to contact him as he could speak well to the truck's condition. If you go forward with purchasing the truck, I can arrange for Dean to have all the work performed for you. Dean is a highly regarded Defender restorer in the Washington DC area. With that said, I believe I am pricing the truck at a fair price considering the body work and money I have put in to it, and what is left to do.
