In 1967 a 2.6-litre inline six cylinder petrol engine was introduced for the long-wheelbase models, which also had servo-assisted brakes. 811 of these were NADA (or North American Dollar Area) trucks, which were the only long-wheelbase models made for the American and Canadian markets. This is one of the last 100 known to still be available.
Beautiful patina from the original paint and an ideal village car in its present condition.
Make no mistake, although complete running and driving, this is a frame-off restoration to make it a daily driver.
A new frame, chassis and springs need to be done, which for anyone familiar with Rovers knows that is the norm.
Currently the non-working original Westlake 2.6 has been taken out and she is running on a 2.25 4 cylinder Rover engine.
However the Westlake is included with the sale.
