1984 LR Defender 90 Wagon
1980 Land Rover Defender 90
This is one of the original LR D-90's produced in the UK in 1984, so it'salso right hand drive (RHD). It's a wagon model (hard top), 3-door with full spare tire and rim. The engine is the original diesel 2.5L naturally aspirated 4-cylinder (a.k.a. LR's "Million Mile Engine"). The odometer is pegged at 154,000 miles, which happened about a week after I imported it, and I've put about 200 miles on it since then. This Spring I had the fuel pump replaced and have been driving itto work at least once a week. There is a little grey smoke on initial start-up, but clears quickly once running. There is a worn patina to the paint, but little serious metal corrosion or rust. The chassis hasa single2" patch that's been inspected and approved. The undercarriage was Waxoyled in August 2014 and should be good for at least 5 years. I have a current VA state inspection, clean VA title, and import paperwork. I need to sell the truck because I don't have the time or money to restore it as I had originally planned. More pictures are available upon request.
* I had t list it as a 1980 in with eBay because they system wouldn't accept the UK VIN for a car built after 1981, this truck is a 1984.
