1970 Lancia Zagato Special EditionFor sale is a very unique 1981 Lancia Zagato Special Edition. One of 500 made and imported to the USA and probably one out of 25 or lessleft in the country. Somecar enthusiasts have purchased these carsand have shipped them to Europe.Currently, it’s not running on its own. Engine is not seized and it does turn over. It does however need minor restoration to get it to be a daily driver.
There are some surface rust as usual with Lancias of this era. The interior is in pretty decent shape with minor seat stitching needed as leather is in very good condition. The main work need it will be a front bumper, front valence, bodywork on the bottom of doors, rockers panels and both end sides of underneath trunk. Right front Fender was replaced and will need gold pin stripes.
I have all that is needed to get this car to be a show car. I have been working with Lancias for over 35 years now and stock regularly new and used rare parts. I have all mechanics manual in pdf or hard binding books, and plenty of literature.
Between my friend (which is where the car is at) and I, we have have over 10 Lancias. It is never a problem for us to get parts or even do the work ourselves or recommend someone for you.
We are members of the club and have all the knowledge need it to get this precious car back to its former glory.
It is the rarest of all the Zagatos because this one was made in limited production for the US market. It is said to go up in value because of the rarity.
The only car in the world to have been built by two famous Italian coach builders. Pininfarina and Zagato of Italy.
Here is your opportunity to own one at such a low price and to meet enthusiasts that appreciates the car brand. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time nor place to store this one (sold a recent storage property)or get it to be a show car, unless I win the lottery tomorrow. Good luck bidding. Any questions just ask. Thank you.
