Interior is in great shape, all original except for a addition of a quality quick shifter. The 1993 EVO II version of the Delta Integrale is the final model produced and offered mechanical and cosmetic upgrades. This model carries a 2.0 liter turbocharged DOHC engine delivering 215 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque through a 5-speed manual transmission to all four wheels. 0 - 60 acceleration is quoted at 5.7 seconds with a top speed of 137mph. This final version of the engine features an advanced engine control system and catalytic converter. Roadholding, agility and overall performance are of a very high order. This is an incredible car to drive.

The turbocharged and intercooled 2.0-liter DOHC four-cylinder is transversely mounted and sends power to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. The AWD system features a 57/43 torque split, Ferguson viscous coupling, and a Torsen rear differential. The engine bay is neat and tidy and appears well sorted. Running character features a strong and linear torque curve with an exhilarating top end surge and an exciting exhaust note that is distinctly Italian.

Never sold in the USA, now eligible for import under the 25-year rule. These are very exciting cars to enjoy and fairly practical to own. The Delta EVO II is the final evolution of one of the hottest, hot hatchbacks ever built. Very rare globally and virtually unknown in America, they have become very popular with savvy collectors recently and investment value is promising.

A very unique and enjoyable car in excellent condition, very well maintained with no known mechanical issues. In Europe the Delta Integrale EVO II has earned a good reputation and is generally regarded to be reliable and dependable. Parts availability is quite good and, despite the advanced technology, the EVO II is considered simple and straightforward to service.


The last model in the Integrale series was the Evoluzione II was released in June 1993. This version was never raced by the factory and offered improved sound insulation and many detail improvements in the interior. This second Evolution version of the Delta HF Integrale featured an updated 2-litre 16-valve turbo engine to produce more power, as well as a three-way catalyst and Lambda probe. Several detail upgrades were also included via a Marelli integrated engine control system incorporating :

  • •Timed sequential multipoint injection
  • •Automatic idling control
  • •Engine protection strategies depending on the temperature of intake air
  • •Mapped ignition with two double outlet coils
  • •Three-way catalyst and pre-catalyst with lambda probe (oxygen sensor)
  • •Anti-evaporation system with air line for canister flushing optimized for the turbo engine
  • •New Garrett turbocharger: water-cooled with boost controlled by feedback from the central control unit on the basis of revs/throttle angle
  • •Knock control by engine block sensor and new signal handling software for spark park advance, fuel quantity injected, and turbocharging

The engine developed 215PS (158kW) DIN (against 210PS on the earlier uncatalysed version) and maximum torque of 32kgf·m (314N·m) (formerly 31kgf·m or 300N·m).

The 1993 Integrale also received a cosmetic and functional facelift that included:
