Description:

1967 Jeep M715

1967 Kaiser Jeep M715 Chevy Smallblock 350 V8
Built 350 engine with a brand new Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor. New water pump and alternator has very recently been installed, as has power steering. New aluminum radiator cooled by new Spal 16" electric fan. Everything has new oil, grease, and lubricant.
Dual exhaust and mufflers produce a loud and aggressive tone, but doesn't go over the top and won't burst your eardrums.
Chevy 350 mated to a SM420 4 speed transmission. Shift action is very tight and easy. Parking brake is drum clasp actuated, and will stop anything.
NP200 Divorced transfer case. Linkage is tight, recently rebuilt, switches high/low ranges and front axle very smoothly and confidently. Puts power out to a Dana 70 full floating rear axle, and to an original Dana 60 in the front.
Brand new Painless Wiring brand harness installed and tucked away from minimal wire exposure. All lights work as a result, and all gauges read healthy. Fuse box is labeled, easy to read, and easy to reach.
Three seatbelt bench seat so the whole gang can hop in and go meet the ladies. Plenty of room for them in the cab too, I'm 6'1" and there is tons of space.
Warn winch works, but needs work. Not hooked up at the moment and needs new hardware.
The Cons
Rust, there is rust almost everywhere. The frame and bed are in good shape, but the floorboards need work as there is holes in them.Everything seeps a little bit of fluid, no real leaks, but some light seeping.Engine coughs now and again, could need a slight carburetor adjustment.
This truck still needs a few finishing touches, but the heavy lifting is done. It has been driven around town everyday and it a champ. Rides at about 50 mph, gets crazy attention, and is a blast for a cruise on a sunny day.
Work will continue on this truck until it leaves, including new fuel tank. Please message if you are interested, we can work out shipping, etc.The M715 is a very special and rare truck and getting harder and harder to find. Thanks for looking.
