Description:

1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Final Edition

It breaks my heart to sell my '91 Hunter Green Final Edition Grand Wagoneer (one of only 1,560 made in 1991, and from what I understand, one of only 150 in Hunter Green). For 17 years it has been one of the bookends (along with '63 Wagoneer) of my fleet of 7 Full-Size Jeeps. But I just do not have the time or money to tend to it properly, so it's time to let someone else have it and restore it.
It's been a few years since any work was done on it, so my memory of exactly which repairs were done last is hazy. I do know that they would have been engine-related, and that I learned that cylinder # 7 was dead. One thing I'm including with the Jeep, however, is the 3-ring binder Maintenance Log, with receipts for and descriptions of all work done on the vehicle since I bought it 17 years ago. The Maintenance log is well-organized, with groupings such as Engine, Cooling & Heating, Brakes, Exhaust, Fuel, Electric, Body/Trim, and Drivetrain,
Paint is great in some areas, and pretty bad in others (especially hood). Included in auction is a NOS Grand Wagoneer hood emblem, which I figured I'd put on once I got vehicle repainted. Roof rack supports are all in place on roof, and roof rack itself (included) just needs to be re-attached.
Passenger seat and rear seat in very good condition. Headliner is a mess. Original Jeep carpeted inserts in decent shape. Driver's seat and front center arm rest are torn. There are areas of substantial areas of rust, including the floorpan on both sides of rear passenger area. Jeep was in an accident at one point, and the following parts were replaced: tailgate, right rear door, right front fender, left rear quarter panel, right rear quarter panel. It's been awhile since the doors have been opened regularly, so the hinges and door locks will need to be lubricated. The tailgate has typical Wagoneer issues, and at present it cannot be opened until whatever's wrong with the tailgate glass mechanism is worked out. I never got around to attaching Woodgrain decal or plastic woodgrain surround on tailgate, but all supplies are included (NOS factory original 3M woodgrain decal with instructions and good condition used woodgrain surround). Also included is xerox of original window sticker (see photo) for this vehicle, showing all the options it came with, and multiple sets of keys.
Shipping is to be arranged by buyer, but I'm certainly happy to work with buyer and shipping company to make picking up Jeep easy. I am within minutes of both I-75 and I-80.
I've done my best to describe my Grand Wagoneer's condition accurately, and to take photos of the worst rust, etc. Happy to answer questions, take more specific photos.
I hope someone will see this Jeep as the diamond in the rough that it truly is, and take it home and shine it up and get it running again! It drove wonderfully for most of the years I had it, and I know it can be made great again. Thanks for looking!
