1973 Jeep J4800

I bought this truck from a lady her husband had a collection of random vehicles she planned to scrap. Me being a jeep guy jumped all over this truck. Unfortunately i have far to many projects already. This is a 360 v8 truck with the 4 speed manual trans. the camper was rotted out and falling apart as we loaded. So i took it straight to the junkyard and had it removed. Wished it could have been saved but wasnt going to happen. I got the truck home and started working on it a little bit. I replaced the starter solenoid (stud was broke off) and reattached fuel line to tank. Tank looks newer and i suspect between the tank swap and solenoid were the reasons it was parked years ago. The carb was frozen and intried to free it up but float was stuck so i purchased a cheap reman and swapped it out... changed the oil... changed rotted plug wires... changed ignition switch (didnt have a key)... and fix some ignition/battery wiring and some vacuum lines and she fired on up! Truck runs great! I actually drove it around my land yesterday so clutch seems to be working properly... the trucks interior is in great shape and it does only have 57k original miles... the camper preserved the truck a lot! It did have jersey tags so it isnt completely rust free but as far as body rust its just the beds floor and the floor pans... the frame and suspension is rusty but nothing major... no holes or anything like that... i also tossed some junkyard wheels and tires on it just to get it around but i have the original 16.5in wheels in the back... everything on this truck is original and in working order... all windows work as should... seals arnt even really bad... even the AM radio works fine and plays fine through the original single dash speaker... only thing this truck is missing is a tailgate, rear bumper, and door locks....
As far as what itll need that ive noticed is at least one front driver shock mount is rusted and broke free at frame... all the shocks are of course shot... there is zero brake fluid or brakes and id imagine it pretty much all needs to be replaced... oil dip stick i tried to swap out but it sheered off flush with the block... radiator and heater core are both leaking... and thats about all i noticed...
If it doesnt sell i dont mind keeping at all and getting to it eventually... my plans would have been a small lift to replace springs, shocks, and brake lines in one kit... pull cab and bed to restore frame and suspension... fresh gaskets on motor and trans... basically restore the frame and below... but leave the body its natural patina look and leave interior alone minus floor pans... maybe some 35s... then find another slide in truck bed camper and use it like it was intended in the 70s... would be awesome and fun for that... but like i mention i have to many other projects at this time. Any other questions just ask. I have way more pics and videos... i can send them via Facebook messanger if you like. Im the only Travis Toborg on fb. Ebay wont let me post anything more.
