1983 Jeep CJ

For sale is an absolutely gorgeous 1983 Jeep CJ7 show winner... best in class and best in show at the most recent 4WD Hardware Jeep weekend (over 150 Jeeps) and 2nd place CJ7 at Butler Bantam Jeep-fest during the Guiness World Record jeep parade (Hundreds of Jeeps)
It is my baby, and has been maintained to the highest standards. It is kept in a heated garage and only gets driven (sparingly) on perfect weather days (never with a top or doors). This 73,000 mile CJ7 is equipped with the original steel body, no rust, a skyjacker suspension and body lift, 5 brand new genuine Mickey Thompson wheels wrapped in brand new 33 x 12 Pro Comp mud tires, a brand new off road style rear bumper and tire carrier, a new optima battery, a vintage looking radio (with modern components and auxiliary input), and more. This CJ7 comes with full steel paint matched full doors with roll up windows, a bikini top, and additional spare parts. The doors haven't been installed since the vehicle was repainted (same vintage brown) in 2016. I no longer have the hardtop for this vehicle because I was unwilling to risk scratching the paint.
The Jeep is powered by a very strong AMC 360 V8 with a Crane Thumper Cam, Edelbrock Intake and Carb, custom side pipe exhaust flowing through fenderwell headers and Magnaflow mufflers, an MSD ignition a 4 speed manual transmission and 2 speed transfer case. Moser one piece axles complete the drivetrain, and it has a new brake master cylinder with stainless brake lines.
The Jeep drives really well, and starts on the first try every time. This Cj7, the predecessor to the Wrangler, is a perfect blend of muscle car, 4x4, and convertible, and had been spolighted by Haggerty as one of the highest trending classic vehicles for appreciation. This CJ has never been off road or in any accidents, and comes with a transferable Classic plate in the state of Pennsylvania.
Please feel free to inquire with any additional questions. Also, I have a video of it running but am unable to upload, so please contact for video.
