Selling a 1976 very original Classic Jeep CJ5. It has been rebuilt, repaired and refined to ensure like new reliability.It's more reliable than my wifes new car that is in and out of dealership for recalls again! It's a CALIFORNIA rust free CJ5 that has been adult owned and cared for over the years. Sold new as RENEGADE CJ with the LEVI package option back in 1976. Original Levi Decal still on body. Original body paint color was Brilliant Blue same color today. Jeep was re- painted one time a few years ago per prior owner. Jeep also kept touched up as needed so no exposed metal. Paint still look's very respectable older but not in need of a repaint in my opinion. SEE PHOTO'S & VIDEO, I cover the body and paint up close in video so buyer can see in better detail than just a photo most sellers just use. Jeep still retains it's nice looking rust free floor pans and frame also.
It's a Factory V8 304 CJ that is powered today by a fresh built motor with "under 1,000" proven, driven reliablemiles on it today. The Jeep T-150 manual transmission was also just rebuilt, rear end rebuilt, new drive lines and yokes, new drop skid plate and so on to ensure best drive ability.Jeep is set up correct! I have receipton my repairs just done!Everything in and on this CJ was repaired or replaced to ensure it'sreliability. IT'S TURN KEY READY TO DRIVE AND ENJOY. Electrical is in great working order. All lights work correct as they should. The Dash lights, Gauges, Gas Gauge, Heater, Horn, Window wipers, Window washer sprayers. Factory EmergencyBrake, Factory back up lights, Under dash floor courtesy lights, Light dimmer, High beam indicator, Brake warning light all work SEE ELECTRICAL VIDEO! Go find another CJ that all the above works in them - Good luck! Well over 150 Labor hours invested in this CJ to fix, repair, rebuild or replace anything that was not in correct working order.
A mild 3 inch Spring suspension lift installed = rides nice. New Steering gear box and many steering parts = Drives nice! Newer front disc brakes, factory drum on rear = Stops nice. New fresh built V8 motor = Runs and performs nice! New rebuilt Jeep T-150 manual transmission so it also shifts nice! All 4 Wheel Drive in great working order SEE VIDEO. New drive line and yokes, Rear end was also upgraded to one piece solid axle = much stronger than stock. Rear end also just rebuilt. Like I said if it needed it it was done! Jeep fitted with Full Family Roll Cage to cover both front and rear passengers = Better safety for on and off road use! New front window glass and rubbers. Jeep also has a Full Soft top with Full soft doors for year round driving. Top not new but looks respectable and gets the job done SEE PHOTO'S. The motor even still retains it's factory original smog parts 42 years later. (That's rare for sure). Yes it even passed California EPA smog inspection when license plates were re-issued. Plates current and good until 2019. It's one of the nicer rust free, still very original looking, un-cut CJ5's driving the roadway today.
