1991 Jeep Cherokee XJ

Hi! This is a 1991 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4X4 SUV / ATV. The previous owner did a lot of work turning it into a really fun off-road vehicle, with a nice lift and new mudders, but it is still very much street-legal. The 4.0 runs super-strong and drives great too. Strong battery that fires it up every time without fail.
Transmission shifts as it should. It is street legal, so can be driven anywhere. The odometer shows 145K on it, but it is not working currently. However, the last recorded reading on Carfax is 142K in 2014, so there probably hasn't been a TON of miles put on it since then.
The interior is what you'd expect from an offroad-centric jeep. No carpet and a little dirty. HOWEVER, the seats are not trashed and are comfortable (the back seat is leather and in good shape). The previous owner replaced the headliner with a camo blanket, and actually did a very nice job installing it haha (it's better than the fabric hanging down like you see on a lot of older Cherokees. The heater/defrost/blower motor works nicely, and ALL 4 ELECTRIC WINDOWS WORK PERFECTLY.
The speedometer and none of the gauges are hooked up currently (I'm assuming that was something in the previous owners' plans), but it shouldn't be difficult to get them all plugged back in and working again. The headlights and windshield wipers are also not currently functioning...again, I'm assuming it was just all part of the previous owner getting caught in the middle of the project (again, it runs and drives fantastic, so I would have to think that getting those peripheral things working again were next on the list).
All in all, it's SUPER fun to drive, and again, is a great runner/driver ready to go. It has Oregon plates that have tags that just expired in February. It was purchased at one of the primary auctions in Portland, and so it has all the legally signed-and-processed paperwork you need to turn it into a title. If you are the winning bidder and pick up the Jeep yourself, local, you can simply take the paperwork into the Oregon DMV and get the title re-issued in your name (even if you don't live in Oregon...they send the title to you and then you can get it registered/titled in your state). If you ship the Jeep, I will take care of the paperwork and then sign the title over and send it to you when it arrives (usually takes 3-4 weeks, and I will immediately send you the document that shows that the transaction has been processed). Either way, the process of getting the title is SUPER easy since all paperwork was professionally processed by Speeds Towing Auction, who have been doing this for decades.
I have tried to be as thorough as possible, but please feel free to ask any questions.I cannot stress the importance of this enough: I have posted several high-quality pictures, so please examine them carefully and utilize the zoom tool for close-ups...it is the only way to 100% accurately see the exact aesthetic condition of the vehicle.
