Up for grabs - my vintage 1974 CJ5 with the original 232 inline 6. It's almost spring and jeep weather is fast approaching. I will be getting this classic out of storage soon, and wanted to offer it up to the craigslist public so the early bird can get the worm. These steel tub CJ5's are getting more rare everyday and their value keeps going up. Super solid for its age - both body and frame - for a 44 year old vehicle. It has the makings of a restoration, or simply drive it like it's meant to be...Super fun either way. This rig has been super reliable, and never left me stranded. Mostly an original vintage look with a little more of a military ass-kicking stance. super clean original dashboard including the original (optional) turn signa, and heat/defrost option. I also have the original manual and brochure.
I will be getting it out of storage soon, and will update this post with more detailed pictures in the coming days.
This is my summer go-to for family jeep rides to the beach and cruising our local two-tracks. Great times have been had, but I've got other recreational interests to pursue and I've reluctantly decided to let it go. I've enjoyed this jeep for the past five years, and made many mechanical updates to make it safe and reliable.

The sale includes a bikini top, soft doors(top and bottom), and some of the hardware needed for a replacement soft top. It also includes original swing out spare tire carrier, and a storage cover(not pictured yet). I'll also include the manuals, and any other parts I have related to the Jeep. It runs like a top, and will put a smile on your face and turn lots of heads.
