THIS IS A PROJECT Vehicle.
Yes that is the VIN on the Jeep it is only 6 numbers, prob cos it was a gov jeep maybe.
I started this, and have a little too much on my plate so I need to let it go.
This is a Postal Jeep, that I cut the roof off, to well make it roofless..
The engine did turn over before I pulled it, to install a new transmission, since then I think its an electrical issue to get it to turn over. I never took the engine apart, just attached the transmission and put it back in the jeep.
It has a AMC 232 straight six engine.
AX15 5spd manual transmission.
I have other parts not shown, that will go with it. (radiator, air cleaner, and other engine parts)
The Odometer shows 18k but it only has a 5 digit od, so I am sure it has flipped at least once. When I bought it it was on a farm where they used it for about 6 years, according to them.
I used Raptor Liner on the outside, I planed on going off-road.
Will need some things to finish,, I have not bolted the seats in, needs tail lights, I was going to get some 3 in 1 LED lights, (it originally had separate brake, turn and reverse lights).
Brakes will need to be looked at too, has drums, ebrake works great. All the electrical worked prior, (lights, dash lights, brake lights, ect..) I have labeled remaining wiring that needs to be hooked up.
