1978 CJ5383 stroker V8,speed granny transmission, 12inch lift, 2 stick 308 cast iron transfer case, 1 ton front/rear axle, 44" super swamper, lockers, custom suspension, custom roll cage, 5.13 gears. This is ALOT of jeep. Has a manual choke for cold days. Cranks right up and runs like a champ. Been stored inside and kept up by a professional mechanic. It has not been taking off road since i have owned it.
This is a toy for off roading, rock climbing, or going to the beach. Even though it is street legal in Texas, it is not an everyday driver. Our goal was to get this thing running as best as we could then tear it all the way down and really clean it up. Not that it looks bad, I just wanted to paint it a a desert tan with black shocks, roll cage, ect and really polish it up like I did my first restored jeep. It is stored at 1206 county road 677 Brazoria, TX 77422. If you look on google maps you will see we are right on Highway 36. The state is imminentdomaingour property to expand the highway for hurricane evacuation and I won't have a building big enough to store it in and work on it. That is the ONLY reason I am selling this jeep at $10k. I have been dropping the price so fast because we will have to be out of here in a few months. I paid $16.9k for it and putting money in it for a year now. You can look this jeep up on line and see where it was for sale for $18.9k. I have had the jeep sold for 13k and the guy backed out for personal reasons. $10k is more than fair. I will deliverfor a negotiated price within 100 miles, that's it. Who ever shows up first with the $10k in cash gets it.
