1964 Jeep Wagoneer

1964 Wagoneer Barn Find. The vehicle has been stored since 1995 in a barn and was dry the entire time. If you are looking for an original Waggy that only needs basic repairs this is your chance. I found and bought this waggy with the intentions of lifting it and LS swapping it. Its just too nice and unmolested for that, so I'm selling going to list it one time and see what it brings, if it doesn't meet reserve it will go under the knife.
The Wagoneer is rust free except for the rust in the one picture, its is the lower right rear quarter. the rest of the Jeep is solid, there is only one dent worth mentioning and it is on both passenger doors and is also in one of the pictures, both of these issues are an easy fix for any body man.The paint is all original and in ok conditio, it is thin in a few places but no rust through anywhere except as shown in the one picture. The trim is all in very good condition with only minor pitting, the bumpers will need to be re chromed. The interior is just slightly dirty but a good cleaning will bring it right back. the seats are soft and in great condition, the headliner has a few stains but is in overall great condition. All of the windows, including the rear one roll up and down beautifully. This Waggy even has the factory compass still mounted on the dash
The motor runs if you hook a gas can to the fuel pump. I have not tried putting gas in the tan, it also goes forward and reverse on its own. the air cleaner is present, its an oil bath style. The brake system is dry, I have not put fluid in but I would count on rebuilding the whole system. The tires all hold air and are in like new condition, but they have been sitting for 20 plus years. The front suspension is the IFS option and the boots are all in excellent shape. The frame is undercoated and in very nice condition. There is no battery that will go with the vehicle.
All of the lights, the radio, the wipers, and the heater blower work just fine.
This is a great original survivor, if I was into a stock waggy this would be the one to buy, I however am not into stock, so here is your one chance to own a 1964 waggy with 42,000 miles on it. I will consider a trade of a rust free 1970 to 1980 Cherokee or Wagoneer, running condition doesn't matter.
