1984 Wagoneer that looks like its predecessor but has kept all the comfort amenities like A/C, power windows, locks, seats, tilt, great stereo, power back window, shoulder straps, but add rubber floor mat and 4WD lever controls with locking hubs replacing the unreliable vacuum system and you have a dependable, head turning, always a conversation starter, summer driver.
This wagon came from the south and virtually had no rust. The transmission was rebuilt with many other new parts to make it a comfortable roadworthy older looking modern vehicle.
Add a quality paint job in its original color, and the underneath cleaned and painted also with extra efforts, like the gas tank dropped to make sure it and the frame behind it were not a problem, and you have a solid, no rust, new paint toy that everyone has to talk to you about everywhere that you go.
It runs and drives, even highway driving, very well, or pull the lever for an adventure offroad.
The seats are from a newer wagoneer and are maroon, but goes very well with the saddle interior. The headliner is original and is showing its age but intact and not drooping.
All in all a fun vehicle.
