1952 Jeep Willys CJ-3

Oh, where do I begin... This has been my baby for 26 years. Time forces me to part with it. Initially, in 1994 I started restoring it. The whole tub was removed, sandblasted and epoxy coated on the underside. I had the drivers and passenger side floors replaced by a pro body man. All body parts are original including the PTO. Everything was removed from the frame ; it was blasted and painted. So were the wheels. All nuts bolts and hardware were cleaned and reinstalled at that time. The tub is now in need of a paint job as it has faded and is scratched. Over the next 4 year, it had new 6 ply tires, exhaust, new gas tank and a few new gauges. All work now. Vehicle was totally rewired. Steering is tight and very good tracking. New brakes, master cylinder and wheel cylinders were done over the years.Transmission and transfer move freely and there is no popping out of gears. There are occasional oil drips as I never totally rebuilt either unit. (Only pan gaskets) Original wheel hubs are installed. Most all original footman loops are on.(cargo tie downs)Recent: New headlights, Jeep has one tailight only. There is a turn signal controller on the steering column but wiring is not hooked up. Light sockets are in the grille so its easy to do. I rarely drove on the road .Emergency brake system is working. PTO shaft is included but I never put it back on. You will also get my custom license plate which I had made. Its one of a kind.I have driven in summers only for a grand total of 3000 miles. Now,the more recent. In 2015, I had an engine rebuild shop do the entire motor over with machining of block, head. Go, new pistons, valve, oil pump, etc. I provided a NOS counterbalanced crankshaft which makes this engine run as smoothly as I ever heard one run. New clutch, new fuel pump and new carb completed the work. It has 50 miles on this engine and the break in oil is still in it. To summarize, everything on the Jeep was cleaned, repainted or replaced at one time or another.Clear Wi title .I have worked hard to keep this original with no modifications or butchery. Hope someone can carry on who will enjoy it as much as I have. There are many questions one might have so I suggest a phone call to discuss the machine. Given a few days,I could probably get a short video together to give a better idea.I rarely carry a phone and can best be reached by leaving a message.
