Description:

1972 Jeep SC-2 Super Commando Limited Edition SC-2 Super Commando 4x4 Special Edition 304 PS PB

You are bidding on a super-rare limited edition 1972 Jeep SC-2 Super Commando 4x4 sport utility vehicle. One-year only model, ery few made. This is a one owner truck that was ordered with just about everything you could get, ncluding the optional AMC 304 V8, eavy-Duty Automatic transmission, our-wheel drive with locking hubs, ower steering, ower brakes, ir conditioning, nd the roof-mounted luggage rack.
The body is very solid and wears its' original paint and SC-2 Super Commando decals. There are only minor beginnings of rust on the passenger side rocker panel, therwise an essentially rust-free vehicle. There is some rear quarter-panel damage on the passenger side, therwise very straight. The hardtop is removable, aking for a good-looking and unique summertime cruiser.
The optional 304 2v AMC engine runs great, nd has a fresh tune-up including a new battery and new Pertronix breakerless electronic ignition, liminating the troublesome and primitive AMC points ignition system. The Super Commando drives well, eels solid and stable, hifts strongly and smoothly, xcellent steering without play, olid brakes. The A/C belt was off when I got it, nd I have not replaced it nor tried the A/C. That said, t is otherwise complete. Four-wheel drive operates just as it should.
I purged the main fuel tank, nd bypassed the 3-position fuel tank selector switch. There are dual auxiliary tanks, ith filler necks located under the hood near the firewall on right and left sides (no holes cut into the body), nd a floor-mounted 3-position selector switch near the high beam switch on the driver side floor. No fuel leaks, o the tanks are likely sound, ut I have not tested them, r the selector switch. There is a CB radio mounted under the dash, ith a magnetic antenna which mounts to the roof (no holes drilled), nd under-dash winch controls for the big Warn winch to the left of the steering column. It is missing one front hub cap. Comes with its' original spare tire. Glass is good all around, nd the windows roll up and down smoothly.
While not perfect, his is a very rare and unique Jeep, nd mechanically very sound as well.
I am waiting for a replacement title in the mail *(original owner could not find the title, ut did fill out the proper ownership transfer and replacement title forms from the DMV; it is a 4-6 week wait for it to arrive, nd will sign off and send to the buyer as soon as it arrives. You may call me at 360-9360-9257 with any questions you may have. Please, o zero-feedback or low-feedback bidders without calling me prior to bidding.
Please be prepared to remit payment in full within 3 days of auction's end via cash, ajor bank cashier's check (must wait for check to physically clear the issuing bank prior to releasing the vehicle and/or paperwork), eposit into my Bank of America account, r bank-to-bank wire transfer. Shipping is the FULL responsibility of the buyer; I can recommend an affordable broker, ut the choice is yours alone. While every effort is being made to describe the Jeep as precisely as possible, t is in fact at 43-year-old classic, nd therefore being sold as-is, ithout warranty or guarantee expressed, ritten, r implied.
