1980 Jeep CJ5 Base Sport Utility 2-Door

This is a nice clean Jeep CJ5.. Repainted about 12 years ago in a nice clean gold color..
BODY:The body is super dry, with just a very small amount of bubbling just showing on passenger lower fender. This is minor, but want to point it out. Body mounts are clean. Has chrome hinges, air vent, and some other trivial pieces. Glass is good, and has a heavy dusty spare tire mount on back. Floors inside were rhino lined when painted. No diamond plating covering up rust.. I was going to either do the renegade stripes, or golden eagle, but decided it may Be time for an automatic. Has bikini top along with full soft top. The rear plastic is torn at the bottom.
INTERIOR:Has after market front seats, and rear seat would need a cover, as it did not have a seat with it.. detachable face stereo, speakers in back, chrome dash panel, all gauges working properly. 4wd light comes on on the dash in high and low. Heat and defrost work, as do dash lights, and e-brake, horn, anwipers!!!
DRIVETRAIN:Reliable 258 straight 6 that was rebuilt before I got it. Has a fuel injection kit that works well, with controller under drivers seat. 8,000 pound electric winch, and includes tow bar for easy transporting, Rancho springs, about 3" lift, with new shocks. All the original emissions equipment is on the Jeep, and just passed test very well! 15" chrome spokes with near new 31x10.50 bag all terrain t/a's.. rear looks to have never been on the ground. It has the smooth shifting t176 transmission, and the bullet proof Dana 300 transfer case! New rear axles, and chrome cover was installed. No exhaust leaks with new pipe, and cat still in line. Lock out hubs, power steering, And power disc brakes. Brakes were done before I purchased the Jeep. I was driving it on Friday down the road, and will do 70 very easy, no vibrations, or pulling.. This is the kind of Jeep that you want, that was taken care of, an every thing works!!!
